Aprn Annabelle Whalen Msn Fnp’s Expertise I have 30 years of Nursing experience. 8 of these years were in the Emergency Department where I started my career as staff RN and within a year I became a Charge Nurse. It was one of the most wonderful experiences in my nursing career!! Later I went on to work as a Director of Nurses for 11 years in Home Health, and presently had my 10th year anniversary working as an RN Health Care Supervisor, for a Managed Care Organization from which I just resigned to start my new job at the VA clinic in Laredo as a full time Family Nurse Practitioner, so excited!! I can’t wait for what God has planned for me there. One more semester to obtain the Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Texas in Arlington with a specialty in Gerontology where I was awarded full tuition scholarship. I feel very blessed and looking forward for a successful future.
